Sun Valley voted high as ‘sugar daddy’ destination

‘Sugar dating’ website users rank ski getaways

A recent poll of 6,500 male members of seekingarrangement.com, a dating website that pairs wealthy men with young, attractive women or men, lists Sun Valley as the sixth best resort in North America for “sugar daddies” to take their “sugar babies” on a romantic ski vacation.
“Skiing is an expensive hobby,” states a Jan. 13 post on the website that lists the poll results. “But we can’t think of a more perfect winter sugar getaway than a long weekend ski trip.”
The post states that the average sugar daddy spends about $3,500 to $4,000, including airfare, on a four-day ski trip for two.
The website defines a sugar daddy as a “respectful and generous … mentor, sponsor or benefactor” who knows he’ll only live once and “wants to date the best.” “Sugar babies” are defined as “attractive, intelligent, ambitious and goal-oriented … students, actresses, models or girls and guys next door” who know they deserve to date someone who will “pamper” them and “empower” them mentally, emotionally and financially.
The poll listed Whistler Blackcomb in British Columbia as the top resort for sugar daddies to whisk their ski bunnies off to.
