Cutthroat boys also win on road

The Carey School boys’ varsity basketball team overcame a major hurdle on the path to February’s Northside Conference tournament with a 66-62 overtime league win over host Castleford on Tuesday night.

Panther sophomore Nate Adamson (17.5 ppg) led the way with 25 points on 10-for-20 field goal shooting. It was his seventh 20-plus effort in the last nine games. He added 4 assists and 7 steals.
