Beware of the United Nations agenda

Seemingly, Idaho Falls, Lewiston, the Wood River Valley, etc. are being ensnared by the U.N. Agenda for the 21st Century. The Idaho Smart Growth website states: “What makes a great place to live? Can it support a mix of ages, incomes and jobs so it can be sustainable over time?” Certainly pleasant, harmless-sounding thoughts. Read the propaganda thoughtfully, and pay close attention to the images (cars or trucks?). Then take the time to read “Behind the Green Mask” by Rosa Koire.   

     High-density urban mixed-use development, human habitation, RoadRIP, wildways, corridors, buffers, visioning meetings, public workshops, regionalization, Occupied Cascadia, global biodiversity, Complete Streets, Thunderhead Alliance, charrettes, quality infill, sustainable cities, built environment: All are phrases used as part of the U.N. Agenda for Sustainable Development, as pushed by the International Council for Local Environmental Issues, and paid for by taxpayer dollars.  

     Who determines and manages the appropriate mix of ages, incomes and jobs? Will governments and NGOs take control of all land use and not leave any of the decision making in the hands of private property owners? Will the Precautionary Principle No. 15, (i.e. guilty until proven innocent), created in 1992 during the U.N. Rio de Janiero Earth Summit, be forced on everyone?

     If there are doubts about any of this, please read “Behind the Green Mask” and do your  own research on the Wildlands Project, Occupied Cascadia, the Yellowstone to Yukon Initiative, etc. and observe the connection to the U.N.
