Forensic audit was money well spent

I wanted to respond personally to the latest development in the sordid saga of Wayne Willich’s brand of Sun Valley government dysfunctionalism, the release of the forensic audit.

Mr. Briscoe and others took a very principled and brave stand that may have some questioning the money spent but, importantly, has no one questioning that it will lead to better government in Sun Valley and future money saved. Moreover, it has been duly noted by many communities in Idaho including all the Wood River Valley towns; they have benefited from the results without having to share any funds or opprobrium.

Long overdue, the administrative shakeup and the subsequent audits and investigations have revealed a shocking abuse of power at the highest levels. Mayor Briscoe, keep up the good work.
