McCleary has helped county

Since becoming a county commissioner in 2008, Angenie McClearly has proven herself to be a strong leader for our community.  Not only has she helped to ensure that Blaine County manages all its resources efficiently, she has helped guarantee that they are managed in an effective way that supports the community’s safety, health, well-being and quality of life.  Below are just a few of the many reasons why we support her reelection.

Through her work as chair of the Blaine Regional Transportation Committee and District Coordination Council, Commissioner McCleary has supported public transportation efforts. She also recognizes that having a variety of transportation options, from walking and biking to reliable air service, is integral to our local economy.

Commissioner McCleary has kept the economy as well as the natural environment in balance when it comes to land-use regulations in the county. Her support of the Mountain Overlay District has kept our hillsides free of development, thereby protecting not only water and wildlife but also preserving an amenity unique and valuable to our resort community.

Commissioner McCleary is open and transparent and encourages community engagement and dialogue. When an important decision is in front of the commissioners, whether it be on the budget or Blaine Manor, she accepts all the public’s input and helps ensure stakeholders know important meetings dates and comment deadlines.

Her integrity, humility and collaborative nature have made Angenie McCleary an excellent county commissioner. Please join us in reelecting her on Nov. 6.
