Businesses support Yes to Air effort

I am pleased to see so many of our local businesses and community organizations postings signs in their windows in support of the important Yes to Air initiative on the November ballot. They understand the importance of passing this issue for the future of the valley.

Air service in and out of Friedman Memorial Airport is financially critical to maintain the many services, events and businesses that we rely on every day in the valley.  There is no way small businesses can survive without the mighty tourist dollar. Several Western mountain resort communities that we directly compete with understand this and have passed their own LOT to insure their financial future. We should be no different.

With increased revenue from the passage of the LOT comes better services for us locals to enjoy and for happy visitors who will not only revisit but (hopefully) make our valley a place to live in the future. We all benefit from the passage of “yes” to air service.
