Choose Crofts as commissioner

Filling Tom Bowman’s shoes on the Blaine County Commission will be a challenging task.

Like those iconic leaders before him—Len Harlig, Rupert House, Tom Blanchard—Tom has carefully helped to shape the county that we so cherish and influence the cities where many of us live, and where many from all over the nation long to.

I have had the privilege to work with them all, and also to understand the challenges and wide scope of skills needed to successfully occupy the position.

No one will serve us better into the future than Mary Austin Crofts. Her deep history in Blaine County, her experience, her careful and diligent decision-making and ability to find common ground with others will bring the best leadership. We can only hope that Gov. Butch Otter also sees how to put the best leader in the position.
