Broadford Road is fine as it is

    Blaine County Commissioners, please disregard the suggestions of Keller Associates to bring Broadford Road “up to par,” as discussed in the story titled “Bike Lanes on Broadford?” (Sept. 7). “Making turns less severe” will surely invite higher speeds on our bucolic treasure.
   From my Broadford Road resident perspective, I note that the whole road is a bike lane of outstanding quality. Establishing a narrow “car only” lane would make much more sense than “adding bike lanes” to the current configuration.
   Another request—in retaining consultants to identify Blaine County issues, please consider only those that respect our community values.
