Get out and about for the ‘Feastival’

Hotline fundraiser in mid valley to boost awareness

    For an outing with plenty of fresh air, unbelievable views, music, dancing, yoga, home cooking, mountain biking, prime fishing, a rope swing and beet contest, consider attending the fourth annual Feastival, a fundraising campout that takes place this weekend, Sept. 14-16, on 11 acres at the base of Idaho’s tallest peak, Mount Borah, on the scenic Big Lost River, 25 miles east of Ketchum.
   The land is the site of a future eco-retreat wellness center called Idaho Base Camp, a facility dedicated to education, creative expression and the development of a sustainable relationship with nature.
   Yurts are available for reservations. Tickets start at $30 and camping in tents or cars is free with the ticket. Reservations can ensure there is enough food to go around, but those who decide to come at the last minute won’t be turned away.
