Bulls, cowboys due in Hailey Saturday

PBR Touring Pro Division show

Still hungry for bullriding action after the big Days of the Old West Rodeo July 2-4? How about a full night of bullriding?

That's what the Sun Valley PBR Classic is offering on its first visit to Hailey Rodeo Park Saturday, Aug. 11 at 7 p.m.

Coming to Hailey, the Touring Pro Division of the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) gives riders the chance to compete in PBR-sanctioned events while earning money to qualify for the national-televised Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS).

The Touring Pro Division is similar to a minor-league training ground for the BFTS.

And the BFTS comprises the top 35 bull riders in the world. Every five events on the BFTS, the top five riders from the TPD based on money earnings can move into the BFTS.

All are aiming to qualify for the PBR World Finals in Las Vegas, Nev. Oct. 26-28.

Tickets at $20 per person are currently on sale at the Hailey Chamber of Commerce and Atkinsons' Market locations.
