RECENT RESULTS FROM JULY 31

Hailey Hotel/Smith Optics 13, Columbia Paint/Bradley Tech 7

The going is getting tougher and tougher for Columbia Paint/Bradley Tech as they cannot seem to get into the winner's column. The woes continued as Hailey Hotel/Smith Optics beat Columbia. Riley O'Grady had three hits (HR, double) with three runs scored. Steve Vauch had two hits and three runs scored as Pat Ballon also had two hits (double) and two runs. Michelle Atkinson had two hits and two runs for Hotel. Brandy O'Grady and Eric Stumpner both had one hit each for Hotel. For Columbia, Kerry Nielson had the big game with two hits (double) and a run scored. Brad Thompson, Bonnie Shell, Skyler Perry and Brent Hope all had one hit each.

Cups & Bras 24, 7 Dog Ranch 9

Cups & Bras handed 7 Dog Ranch its first loss of the season in a lop-sided win for Cups. Even though 7 Dog lost its first game, it still has yet to give up 100 runs on the year as the team stands at 99. For Cups & Bras, it was a field day with hits. Morgan Uhrig had five hits with five runs to help out for the day. Kenny Nelson's assault on the softball continued has hit had four hits (2 HR) and four runs. Lead off man Ryan Stavros had four hits and four runs. Wendy Speth was fresh off her MVP performance in the Ketchum league's tournament as she had three hits and three runs. Matt Nelson had two hits (HR, double), and Shanell Nelson and MJ Musselman had one hit each with two runs scored. Brenda Blackwell had one hit on the day. For 7 Dog, Amanda Lyons had three hits and a run to help out. Anna Edwards and Sean Harrington each had two hits and a run each. Joe Lamana had a home run as his only hit on the day. Greg Edwards, Buddy Peterson and Zack Dilworth all had one hit and one run scored on the day.
