RECENT RESULTS FROM JULY 26

Power Engineers 19, Cups & Bras 18

Power Engineers and Cups & Bras played a close game the entire match. These two teams could very well meet each other in the end of the season tournament. Kyle Bennett had another great game as he put up three hits, one of which was a home run, and three runs. Jamie Ulrich also had three hits and three runs. Kevin Runs had a home run and Ben Bainbridge had two hits and a run. Richard Ulrich had two hits and three runs on the day and Jason Marenda had a hit and two runs. For Cups & Bras, Kenny Nelson continued his hot hitting from Ketchum's league with four hits on the day. Nelson connected on two home runs and two doubles. Brenda Blackwell had three hits and three runs, and Shanell Nelson had two hits, including a triple, and two runs.

Hailey Hotel 9, Andrus Elec./Cowboy Cocina 8

This was a very low-scoring game for a slow-pitch softball game. Not a lot of runs scored, but plenty of hits. Riley O'Grady had three hits, including a home run and two runs for Hotel. Patrick Ballon had three hits and two runs. Megan Balis and Eric Stumpner each at two hits for Hotel. For Andrus, Rich Lang had three hits and a run while Donavon Romrell had two hits (home run, double). Joe Molyneux had three hits including an inside-the-park home run. Brandon Ivie closed out Andrus with two hits and two runs.

RECENT RESULTS FROM JULY 30

Hailey Hotel 14, Mahoney's/Wicked Spud 13

The Hailey Hotel and Mahoney's/Wicked Spud duked it out as the dog days of softball are under way. Hotel piled up the home runs in the game for the win. Patrick Ballon had two home runs and four runs scored, and Eric Stumpner had a home run of his own and three runs scored. Kennel Chatterton also had two hits on the day. Mike Beall led Mahoney's with four hits and two runs. Hannah Gove had two hits and a run, and Anthony Rooney had a hit and two runs for Mahoney's.

Andrus Ele./Cowboy Cocina 13, Power Engineers 12

Andrus Electric beat Power in a small upset, which sent Power into a below .500 record for the year. Despite multiple home runs from Power, Andrus was able to hold off Power in the end. Rich Lang had two hits for Andrus as did Trena Andrus. Donavon Romrell had a hit and a run while Nicole Miller had a hit and two runs. Brandon Ivie had two runs for Andrus. Kyle Bennett had two hits including a home run and Ben Bainbridge added two home runs of his own. Jason Marend had three hits and three runs and Jamie Ulrich had three hits and a run scored.
