Concrete Rodeo Tour set for Hailey this Saturday

Get ready for some serious skateboarding as Hailey will transform its World Class skate park into one of the biggest competitions of the year.

The Concrete Rodeo will take place on Saturday, July 28. The competition is open to all ages and abilities. Ages begin at 8-years old and will have a men's and women's division.

Helmets are required with a $25 entry fee. With an entry, skaters get a t-shirt. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. and the even starts at 11 a.m.

Local businesses like the Board Bin, Smith Optics and Scott USA are sponsoring this event.

Skaters from all over the state of Idaho are expected to compete in the Concrete Rodeo.

Get a chance to buy Rusch's mountain bike

The Wood River Bike Coalition is set to auction off record breaking and biking icon Rebecca Rusch's mountain bike. The auction is ebay.com and will go until Monday, July 30. It will be listed as the "Specialized Fate 29er that Won Leadville."

Rusch is auctioning the bike she rode to her third-straight victory in the grueling Leadville 100 race to raise money for the Wood River Bike Coalition.

The bike is a custom-built 2011 Specialized carbon fiber FATE 29er mountain bike.
