A MASSV success

This past weekend left me feeling a bit old and out of touch and happy. So very, very happy. I watched as thousands of young people filled our beautiful valley and enjoyed and participated in a music and arts celebration of epic proportions. Bands, DJ's (did you know they don't just play records anymore?), art, dancing, laser light shows and fire spinning (my favorite)!

The festival was nothing less than amazing! Huge thanks to Brent Russell (aka Doc Rock). His creativity, hard work and giving made this event happen. And his Doc Rock/DJ Alien show on Main Street lit up Ketchum.

Thank you, also, to Mayor Randy Hall—for having the vision to find a way to fill this town with young people. Young people who feel loved by and now love this valley. These two guys are a couple of superheroes!

A Facebook post from a young lady from Montana says it so well: "We had such a blast!!! Ketchum knows how to treat people!! Friendliest people ever!"

Time to start giving, volunteering and making MASSV 2 a reality!
