The Hailey Chamber of Commerce this week announced the winners of the city's 2012 Fourth of July Parade.

Parade winners were expanded into four separate categories: Decorated or Antique Auto; Equestrian and Wagon; Open; and Float.

In the Auto class, first place went to the Vamps, second place to the Bucking Car, and third to the Mountain Rides Transportation Authority. In the Equestrian/Wagon category, first place went to Eh Capa Riders, second place to 2 Hearts North 4H Club, and third place went to Blaine County 4H. In the Open category, first place went to Mountain Adventure Tours, second place to Music 'n' Me, and third place to Mobile Fidelity Inc. In the Float category, there was a tie for first between the Red Hatters and the Animal Shelter of Wood River Valley, second place went to 5B Crossfit, and third place to Rotarun ski hill.

"The judges—Joyce Mill, Betty Campbell and Maryl Metheany, representing the Blaine County Senior Connection—had a great time judging the entries," said Fourth of July Co-Chair Jane Drussel. "We had so many great entries this year. It was a challenge for the judges."

The Hailey Chamber of Commerce extended thanks to all the Fourth of July Parade and Fireworks sponsors, as well as the city of Hailey Police, Fire and Street departments.
