The Blaine County School District board of trustees will consider key appointments and election of officers at its next public meeting on Tuesday, July 10.

In addition to its regular monthly meeting, the board will also hold its annual meeting, beginning at 6 p.m. at the district office at 118 W. Bullion St. in Hailey. According to the agenda, the regular meeting will follow the annual meeting.

Up for reappointment are district Business Manager Mike Chatterton as district treasurer, Laurie Kaufman as clerk of the board, Adam King as district attorney and Director of Student Services Debi Gutknecht as representative for various federal programs.

The board will also elect a chair and vice chair, posts now held, respectively, by Trustee Steve Guthrie and Trustee Don Nurge.

Agenda items for the regular meeting include consideration of a partnership agreement with Mountain Rides Transportation Authority, approval of a contract for door access mechanisms and security cameras at Carey School and consideration of new carpet installation at Bellevue and Hailey elementary schools.

A complete agenda is available at the district website, www.blaineschools.org.
