Cups & Bras 11, Mahoney's/Wicked Spud 3

Leadoff hitter Ryan Stavros (3 hits, 3 runs) opened the season with a homer and Morgan Uhrig (double, triple, 3 runs) followed with a solo HR in a 3-run Cups & Bras first. The winners tacked on 5 runs on 7 hits in the third for a 7-1 cushion. Cups & Bras: 2 hits apiece by M.J. Musselman, Kenny Nelson (double, 2 runs), Wendy Speth and Maddy McInnis. Wicked Spud: Mike Beall 2 hits (double) and 2 runs, Danielle Stone 2 hits, Sean Guisasola 3 hits.

7 Dog Ranch 20, Andrus Elec./Cowboy Cocina 4 (5 innings)

Trent "TJ" Petersen ripped a 2-run HR and added a solo round-tripper later in 7 Dog's 11-run third during which 14 batters came to the plate. Greg Edwards (2 hits, 3 runs) added a 3-run HR in the uprising that stretched 7 Dog's lead to 19-2. 7 Dog Ranch: Emily Anderson 3 hits (triple) and 2 runs, Joe LaManna 2 hits (double) and 2 runs, Sue Mulcahy 3 hits and 2 runs. Andrus/Cocina: Jeff Stedman 2 hits, Jeff Jones double.

Mahoney's/Wicked Spud 12, Columbia Paint/Bradley 11

Tracy Peterson (3 hits, 4 runs) belted a clutch 2-run triple and scored the eventual winning run in Wicked Spud's 3-run seventh inning rally that erased an 11-9 deficit. Earlier in the back-and-forth game, Bradley had rallied from a 9-3 hole with 5-run fifth started by a leadoff double by Erik Nilsen (3 hits, HR, 2 runs) and featuring a 2-run double by Brad Thompson (2 hits, 2 runs). Wicked Spud: 2 hits apiece by Sean Guisasola (double, 2 runs), Danielle Stone (2 hits, 2 runs) and Anthony Rooney (triple). Bradley Tech: Nate Adams HR.

7 Dog Ranch 21, Power Engineers 7

7 Dog Ranch jump-started its season by scoring 6 runs in the first highlighted by a 2-run double off the bat of Anna Edwards (3 hits, 2 runs) and a 2-run HR by Trent "TJ" Petersen (3 hits, 3 runs, 3 RBI). The winners finished the rout with a 7-run sixth ignited by a leadoff HR by Sean Harrington (3 hits, 2 doubles, 3 runs). 7 Dog: Buddy Peterson 4 hits and 2 runs, Amanda Lyons 3 hits (double) and 2 runs, Wendy Hosman 2 hits (double) and 2 runs. Power: Kyle Bennett 3 hits (2 solo HRs, double) and 3 runs, Jamie Ulrich 2 hits and 2 runs, Ben Bainbridge HR, Kevin Rust 3 hits.
