Karen Ream Foster

Sept. 8, 1934 - May 16, 2012

Karen Ream Foster went home to be with her beloved parents, sisters and husband, Robert Foster, on Wednesday, May 16, 2012. She passed away peacefully in San Diego with the San Diego chapter of her family by her side.

Karen's legacy began in the small town of Aurora, Ill., where she was born to her parents, Howard and Pauline Ream on Sept. 8, 1934. She was a beautiful little girl blessed with having an amazing zest and love for life, which was a trait she carried with her until she passed away. She was an eternal optimist with a loving and giving personality, and she loved her heavenly father, Jesus, with every fiber of her body and soul. She volunteered every free moment of her time giving to others and helping those in need. She will be missed, terribly!

Karen is survived by her son, Michael Foster; her daughter, Kelly Herrera; her six grandchildren; and her two great-grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at the Calvary Bible Church in Hailey, Idaho, at 4 p.m. on Sunday June 24.
