Runners headed to Heagle Park Saturday

Girls on the Run event


     The ninth annual New Balance Girls on the Run 5-kilometer and Healthy Living Expo are Saturday, May 19 at LawrenceHeaglePark, Hailey, with the race starting at 9 a.m.

     Come out to run, walk or stroll the communitywide event.  Following the race will be a Healthy Living Expo at HeaglePark.  Activities will include a bike obstacle course, music and entertainment by Music ’n’ Me, pets to adopt from the Animal Shelter, a “happy hair” station, bouncy house and face painting, crafts and activities, and nutrition and skin care information.

     Those who register early get a discount. Sign up online at www.girlsontherunwrv.org or register in person Friday, May 20 to Atkinsons’ in Hailey from 5-7 p.m.

     Registration fees are $20 adults, $10 youth (18 and under), and $40 family (of four).  Registration is available race morning from 8-9 a.m. at HeaglePark, but fees will increase race day to $25 adult, $15 youth, $50 family.
