Corrections

• A story in the May 9 issue titled "Resident's reading system gets tested" incorrectly stated the amount of time that Narda Pitkethly spent teaching at the Boise women's prison. She spent five hours there.

• A story in the May 9 issue titled "How important is an invitation to the dance?" misidentified the band that Pete Kramer's son Danny introduced him to. It was Olin & the Moon.

• A story in the May 11 issue titled "Nonprofits petition county for funding" incorrectly stated that the Animal Shelter of the Wood River Valley asked Blaine County for funding mainly to provide impound services and free spay-and-neuter clinics. The shelter was requesting a contract only for impounding strays, and does not receive government funding for any of its other services.
