Valley needs Croy Canyon

I am passionate about Croy Canyon Ranch Continuing Care Community. We need this type of care in our valley. It is a retirement community that responds to why we live in this special place.

Have you seen the location? It is a wonderful location out Croy Canyon with open space and views only a mile from downtown Hailey. The building and landscaping design embrace open space and the natural environment.

The setting, the gardens and the open space are an important part of this community.

My mother, at the end of her life, was suffering from dementia and confined to a wheelchair. She could neither get around on her own nor could she interact socially with people.

But she could still experience pleasure when I was able to wheel her on walks through the garden areas that surrounded her skilled nursing home.

My mother spent the last years of her life in a community with a similar vision as Croy Canyon Ranch, one that embraced seniors of all levels of ability and provided access to gardens and the outdoor environment.

Croy Canyon Ranch will be so much more than just a building to house seniors; it will be a vibrant and compassionate community in a beautiful setting. We, as a community, raised the funds to build a topnotch hospital and a first-rate YMCA, now we need to come together to be able to provide the same quality experience for our seniors.
