Turn Down Quigley plan

I am writing to Hailey Mayor Fritz Haemmerle and the City Council to express my concerns of the proposed Quigley Canyon annexation into the city of Hailey. The city of Hailey has a Planning and Zoning Commission to help the City Council with planning and zoning issues and impacts such as this application.

Below is the response from the Planning and Zoning Commission for this application: "The Hailey Planning and Zoning Commission held public hearing on proposed changes to the Quigley Canyon annexation proposal on Oct. 3, Oct. 17 and Nov. 7, 2011 and recommended to City Council denial of the revised plan."

I think it would be an injustice to the Planning and Zoning Commission to consider the application after their review and recommendation to the City Council for denial of the revised plan. I ask that the City Council deny the proposed application based on your Planning and Zoning Commission's recommendation and that the development would not be "Smart Growth" for the city or its citizens.
