All-Star, Babe Ruth tryouts Thursday

The Wood River Baseball and Softball Association (WRBSA) is holding tryouts and evaluations for spring and summer travel teams Thursday, May 10 in Hailey.

Coach Lars Hovey and Larry Lloyd will conduct Babe Ruth (ages 13-15) tryouts from 5-7 p.m. at Founders Field.

Coaches Brian Nelson and Charlie Dunn will oversee the All-Star 12-and-under tryouts Thursday from 5-7 p.m. at Nelson Field.

Players should bring their baseball gear and expect to be evaluated in hitting, running and fielding. Team selections should be announced by the end of the week. The first All-Star tournament is June 8-9.
