Alberto Enourato, 90, died Friday, March 30, 2012, at the Blaine Manor in Hailey. He was born on May 23, 1921, in Trenton, N.J., the son of Leonardo and Maria Rega Enourato. He grew up in Trenton, N.J.
He was one of 11 brothers and sisters. Alberto joined the CCC (Civilian Conservation Corps) at the age of 16. He built railroads and fought fires in Avery, Idaho. Afterward, he joined the Marines and fought in World War II. After serving in the marines he was self-employed as a general commercial contractor. He also owned his own restaurant.
Alberto is survived by his son, Albert (Debbie) Enourato of Pennington, N.J.; daughters, Lisa Enourato (Russ Bork) of Ketchum and Jackie Falk of Washington, D.C.; brother John Enourato of Trenton, N.J.; sister Dolores Galullo of California; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Leonardo; mother, Maria; and eight brothers and sisters.
Alberto's service will be held in Trenton, N.J.
