Dress vintage for 2012 Janss Pro-Am

SVSEF benefit April 5-7

"Vintage" is the costume theme of the Sun Valley Ski Education Foundation's 15th annual Janss Pro-Am Classic.

One of the SVSEF's most successful and popular fundraisers is planned for Thursday through Saturday, April 5-7. Investment bank Stifel Nicolaus Weisel is title sponsor.

Skiers and snowboarders will race dual giant slalom with ski professionals and former Olympians, Pro Tour and World Cup racers. Teams will pick a favorite era, sports team, film, book or TV show and dress in their "vintage" best.

This year's Janss pros will include Casey Puckett, Langely McNeal, Scott Macartney, Libby Ludlow, Kyle Wieche, Chris Puckett, Christin Cooper, Jonna Mendes and Zach Crist.

Each team will also have a "junior pro," a current athlete selected from the SVSEF teams.

Registration is currently open. Take part as a corporate team sponsor, team sponsor, individual racer or guest. All abilities are invited. For details, visit "events" at www.svsef.org. Register with Kate Berman at 720-6789 or kate@svsef.org.

Highlights include a Pro Welcome Party at the Olympic Bar at Michel's Christiania in Ketchum, an après-ski Classic Martini Party at Whiskey Jacques' sponsored by American Harvest Organic Spirits, hosted breakfasts and lunches, and the Saturday night awards banquet at the Sun Valley Limelight Room.
