Young cagers earn season hardware

The Blaine County Recreation District's youth basketball season wrapped up on Thursday, March 22 at the Community Campus gym, Hailey.

The season started Jan. 11 and finished with the tournaments held March 7-22.

In the tournament championship game of the grade 3-4 program, the Green Hornets, coached by Trent Jones, defeated the Black Mambas, coached by Steve Barckholtz, by a score of 25-17.

The winner of the grade 5-7 program was Team Ketchum, coached by Matt Newhouse, by a 26-21 count over Team Blue, coached by Steve Moore.
