Wednesday, March 28, was Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl's third birthday in captivity. The Hailey-area native has been missing since the summer of 2009 when he was captured by Taliban forces while serving in Afghanistan.

As the Idaho Legislature's House session closed Wednesday morning, Rep. Wendy Jaquet, D-Ketchum, asked for a point of personal privilege and addressed lawmakers, asking them to keep Bergdahl in their thoughts and in their prayers "in the hope that he will soon return home."

"I indicated that he's the only person that is a prisoner of war from the Afghanistan conflict," Jaquet said.
