Speed traps bad for business

To the folks of Ketchum, Idaho: Thank you for the hospitality during the Nordic Week celebration last week. I love the event and will be back next year and many years into the future.

To the folks of Hailey, Idaho: Are you so strapped for cash that you need speed traps at 4:25 a.m. on a Sunday morning, a block away from where the speed limit picks up again? I came into Hailey numerous times during my week stay to visit shops and restaurants—I won't next year or years into the future. I expect the $85 you gained at 4:25 a.m. will cost the local merchants thousands in the future.
