2012 Luna recall underway

The 2011 Luna recall failed, but its embers are still glowing brightly. The 2012 Luna recall is already underway, focusing on the Nov. 6 election.

The 2012 Luna recall will have new faces, new energy, and above all, new tactics. The official website of the 2012 Luna recall is www.recallluna.com. (Yes, that's with three l's.) Our Facebook page is also recallluna.com.

Mr. Luna talks about technology. We plan to use the brutal power of the Internet against Mr. Luna. We even have a 60-second YouTube video linked to our home page.

The symbol for the 2012 Luna recall is a "Recall Luna" T-shirt in "Andrus" blue. There is even a link to an online retail store where you can order T-shirts if you please.

The excitement of a populist movement is that it can be contagious. No one knows which snowflake can trigger an avalanche. We constantly hear one very silly argument against recalling Mr. Luna.

We hear that even if we recall Mr. Luna, (Gov.) Butch (Otter) would just appoint someone as bad or worse to replace him.

First, we doubt that Butch could find anyone worse than Mr. Luna. More importantly, a successful Luna recall would be like the Titanic hitting the iceberg. It would change the course of Idaho politics for the next 15 to 20 years. Who knows, we might even see another Cece walk out of the woods and into the statehouse.
