Marilyn Krenzer Way


Marilyn Krenzer Way, 69, died Jan. 1, 2012, at home surrounded by friends and family after a two-and-a-half year battle with cancer.

Marilyn was born in Fresno, Calif., on May 14, 1942, and grew up in Fremont, Neb., before graduating from Fremont High in 1958 and marrying then-husband Duane Way.

They moved to Idaho and raised two children, Terry (Kim) Way (Jerome, Idaho) and Kathy (Dan) Way Proctor (Pleasanton, Calif.).

Marilyn spent many years working in real estate and banking. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, traveling, reading and entertaining friends.

Her infant son, Gary, and mother, Alice Krenzer, preceded Marilyn in death.

She is survived by her father, Charles Krenzer, 100, of Fremont, Neb.; her children and grandchildren, Brady (Megan) Way in Twin Falls, Daniel (Clarissa) Proctor in Oceanside, Calif., and Nathan and Nicole Proctor in Pleasanton, Calif.; and companion Victor Forgeon in Rupert, Idaho.

A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, Jan. 14, at the Twin Falls Center for the Arts, 195 River Vista Place. A private family inurnment will be at Sunset Memorial in Twin Falls.
