Senior hockey rings out the old year

Morgan’s, Yoga collect wins

Senior Hockey "A" League action wrapped up for the 2011 portion of the season schedule Dec. 27 with two games at Sun Valley Skating Center.

Morgan's Fine Finishes got goals from four different players en route to a 4-2 victory over Lefty's Bar & Grill behind the goaltending of Pat Ballou.

Single goals for the winners came from John Ellison Jr., Chris Benson, Dave Hennessy and Dave Patrie. Credited with assists were Dale Johnson (2), Jamie Ellison (2) and Patrie. Lefty's goal scorers were Baba Street and Matt Ward, with assists to John Kearney Jr., Bobby Sloper and Chad Levitan. Sharing the goal duties were Mat Gershater and Cody Levitan.

Yoga College of India prevailed 3-1 over Sun Valley Auto Club/Grumpy's. Yoga goal scorers were Brad Dredge, Tate Mills and Bryan O'Connell, assists to Dave MacMillan and Pete Whitehead. Bryan Speth tallied a Grumpy's goal, assisted by Frank Salvoni.
