A 29-year-old Ketchum woman was arrested in Bellevue Monday evening on a felony charge of possession of marijuana.

Hailey Police Chief Jeff Gunter said Corrine Hanson was also charged with the misdemeanor crime of possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use.

Gunter said the arrest followed a traffic stop at 9:49 p.m. near the intersection of Main and Beech streets. He said a deputy with the Bellevue Marshal's Office pulled the woman over for a faulty headlight.

"In the process of talking to her, the deputy found out there was weed in the car," Gunter said.

Hanson allegedly possessed 3.2 ounces of marijuana. Possession of three ounces or more of marijuana is chargeable in Idaho as a felony.

Hanson remained incarcerated Tuesday morning in the Blaine County jail awaiting an initial court appearance later that day in Blaine County Magistrate Court.
