James Jacobson

James Jacobson, 94, of Boca Raton, Fla., died on Monday morning, Nov. 28, 2011, at the Boca Raton Regional Hospital in Boca Raton.

He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 69 years, Lenore Cohen Jacobson; devoted father of Benjamin Jacobson of Yorktown Heights, N.Y., and Steven Jacobson of Brooklyn, N.Y.; cherished grandfather of Sara and Julia Jacobson.

Services were at the Agudat Achim Cemetery, Schermerhorn Street in Rotterdam, N.Y., on Friday, Dec. 2, at 1 p.m. A celebration of James' life was held at the Boca Greens Country Club in Boca Raton on Monday, Dec. 12, at 11 a.m. Those wishing to remember James in a special way may make a memorial contribution to Hospice by the Sea, 1531 W. Palmetto Park Rd., Boca Raton, FL 33486.
