Two Blaine County residents were treated and released at St. Luke's Wood River Medical Center following a two-vehicle crash Friday morning at the intersection of state Highway 75 and East Fork Road.

The Blaine County Sheriff's Office identified the victims as Pio Aguino Inga, 43, of Ketchum, and Angelo Robbins, 28, of Hailey. Sheriff's Capt. Jay Davis on Monday described their injuries as "minor."

Davis said the accident occurred around 7:15 a.m. when Inga, southbound in a black 2001 Suzuki XL-7 Vitara, was turning left from the highway onto East Fork Road and was struck by a northbound orange 2007 Jeep Liberty driven by Robbins.

Davis said Inga was issued a citation alleging failure to yield.

He said both vehicles had "extensive damage" and had to be towed from the scene of the crash.

The accident report did not state whether either party was wearing a seatbelt.
