Dorothy Helen Crawford

Dorothy Helen Crawford, a lady of adventurous spirit and strong character, passed away Oct. 17, 2011.

Dorothy, who was born in 1911, had wonderful memories of Sun Valley/Ketchum and her friends at Ketchum Kitchen, Atkinsons' Market and Perry's.

She traveled to China with the Community School students in the 1990s. She will be fondly remembered by the Sun Valley tennis pros who worked for her son, Jack. She especially enjoyed the memory of the famous tennis match against Jack Williams (Santa Claus) and his wife, Patti. It was a win she never forgot. She traveled with her husband, Jack, to Africa and Europe. She had a trip down the Nile in which lifelong memories were made.

She is survived by her grandchildren, Marnie and Heather, and her son, Jack. A remembrance will be scheduled for a later date.
