Vote for Briscoe, Suhadolnik

While I supported Wayne Willich in his Sun Valley mayoral campaign four years ago, based on the current economic and political conditions in Blaine County, I have concluded that a change in leadership and in City Council membership is needed. We need a mayor who can work effectively and collegially with all Sun Valley City Council members but also a mayor who can work better with the cities of Ketchum and Hailey, and Blaine County leaders.

Never has there been a greater need for all political leaders to work together than in today's difficult economic climate. Dewayne Briscoe, current president of the Sun Valley City Council, has displayed the ability to work effectively and develop better teamwork among council members; he has a proven leadership style that is needed for mayor of Sun Valley. Furthermore, Mr. Briscoe has stressed the need for fiscal responsibility, which is lacking in our current leadership, as demonstrated by the city of Sun Valley's attempt to float a $14 million bond during these trying financial times.

Franz Suhadolnik has the temperament and most importantly supports fiscal responsibility and will be an excellent choice to replace Dewayne Briscoe on the Sun Valley City Council.

I urge Sun Valley residents to vote for Dewayne Briscoe, mayor, Franz Suhadolnik, City Council, and to vote against the $14 million bond issue.
