Pat Cooley would serve Hailey well

As former colleagues of Pat Cooley, we wholeheartedly endorse him for Hailey City Council. We had the good fortune of working with Pat when he served on the Hailey Planning and Zoning Commission for five years. His was a voice of intelligence, reason and fairness. He came to meetings prepared and ready to seriously deliberate the issues at hand.

As chair, Pat was able to hear the public's concerns and help facilitate a balanced and informed decision. His own decisions were guided by his moral compass, always pointing toward the good of the community. As he advised his fellow commissioners, "At these meetings we make the journey from 'me' to 'we'."

Hailey will continue to face important issues in the upcoming years and will benefit from having someone like Pat Cooley on its council. This candidate possesses a breadth and depth of knowledge and experience that will serve him well as he serves the citizens of Hailey. Please vote for Pat Cooley on Nov. 8.
