Attend airport meeting to get answers

Relocate, expand or leave as is? That is the FriedmanMemorialAirport question that is on everyone’s lips today. Because of the vital importance of this issue to all the stakeholders, particularly those stakeholders living in Hailey and Bellevue, a town hall meeting has been scheduled with the cooperation of Bellevue Mayor Chris Koch. That meeting will be at the BellevueElementary School gym at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 25.

Mayor Koch will chair this meeting. The airport officials, BlaineCounty commissioners and board members have been invited and will take your questions in the open-microphone segment. Everyone in the valley is encouraged to attend. By clicking on the Brief History tab on the website www.flysvra.com, one can see how we got to where we are today and what the studies of the past 17 years, at a cost of $6 million, have concluded.

Plan to be at the meeting on Oct. 25 to discuss those studies and get answers to your questions.
