Tim Neville

Timothy Neville, who taught speech arts for 34 years at Wood River High School, has been inducted into the Idaho High School Activities Association Hall of Fame.

The induction took place in September at the association's 32nd annual Hall of Fame banquet in Boise.

"Mention drama, speech, debate in the state of Idaho and the name Tim Neville naturally comes to mind," states an association press release. "His peers have recognized Tim's exceptional coaching skill and lifelong dedication to speech arts."

Neville spent his entire 34-year teaching career at Wood River High School, where he served as drama, debate and speech coach until retiring in 2005.

According to the press release, under Neville's leadership Wood River High School students won numerous local, district and state titles, including five 4th District drama championships, one state drama championship, 15 4th District debate championships and nine Idaho High School Activities Association state debate championships.

Neville and his wife, Anne, now live in Logan, Utah.
