"Go Green," and don't forget to tailgate

Be sure to boost Wood River High School school spirit for Friday's Homecoming football game against the Jerome Tigers by wearing the green and attending the pre-game Homecoming Tailgate Barbecue.

Wood River head coach Kevin Stilling said, "It's a 'Green Out!' Everybody should wear their green—it's go green or go home!"

Friday's tailgate barbecue will feature a full dinner, pizza by the slice, drinks, ice cream and baked desserts. It will be served from 5:30-6:30 p.m. in the parking lot adjacent to Hailey's Phil Homer Stadium. The prices will range from $1 to $8.

Proceeds from the barbecue will go towards the 2012 Senior Bash celebration following graduation next spring.

Organizers thanked Atkinsons' Market, Albertson's, McClain's, Leroy's Ice Cream, Pepsi and M & M Heath.
