Cyclists gets results at USA Masters finals

Time trials at Bend


Seven riders from the Wood River Valley traveled recently to Bend, Ore. for the 2011 USA Cycling Masters Road Championships. Three of the six Durance Colnago riders from Ketchum who made the trip also ended up on the podium. They were:

Patty Puz captured her fifth national championship in the Master Women's 70-plus time trial; Richard Feldman took second in the Men's 40-44 TT, just seconds behind the winner; and John Swyers earned a fourth-place medal in Men's 70-74.

6—Hans Muehlegger Men's 70-74. 8—John Swyers 70-74 age group.

Time trial

1—Patty Puz 70-74 age group. 2—Richard Feldman 40-44. 4—John Swyers 70-74. 11—Tom Campion 65-69. 20—Amos Galpin 60-64 age group.
