Youmans is Volkl Cup winner for 2011

Wood River Valley cyclist Sara Youmans, 15, has won the Volkl Cup Women's Race Series for the 2011 race season. Pictured here, Youmans received her Volkl Cup winner's jersey Sunday at Seward Park in Seattle, Wash. The Volkl Cup is a Women's Cat. 3 race series composed of 11 races held from March through August in Washington. The overall points winner at the end of the season is the Volkl Cup champion. Youmans will get her name engraved on the Volkl Cup and receive a new pair of Volkl skis. Youmans also ended a successful race season with a victory in the Seward Park Classic Criterium Sunday in the Cat. 1/2/3/ Women's field. She rides for the Peanut Butter & Co. 2012 Women's pro cycling team.
