Taekwondo success at Boise meet

For Sun Valley Taekwondo students

Last Saturday, Sun Valley Taekwondo took eight competitors to the Idaho Taekwondo Training Center Open Taekwondo tournament in Boise. Here are the local results:

8-year-old Yellow Belt boys: Luis Cordoba took silver medals in forms and sparring.

8-year-old Blue Belt boys: Ben Wise silver in forms and bronze in sparring.

10-year-old Blue Belt boys: Benito Martinez bronze in forms and silver in sparring; Isaac Brannon bronze in forms and bronze in sparring.

10-year-old Blue Belt girls: Daisy Martinez silver in forms and sparring.

10-year-old Red Belt boys: Curtis Larsen gold and sparring.

11-year-old Red Belt boys: Bryan Martinez bronze in forms and sparring.

13-year-old Red Belt boys: Derek Thompson silver in forms and bronze in sparring.
