PGA champ Keegan Bradley has Jackson Hole ties

Keegan Bradley, 25, the winner of Sunday's PGA Championship in a playoff at Johns Creek, Ga., has Rocky Mountain ties. Trailing by five shots with three holes to play, PGA Tour rookie Bradley won $1.44 million by capturing Sunday's three-hole playoff. He became only the third player to win a major title in his first try. It brought Bradley's season earnings to nearly $3.5 million.

His father, Mark Bradley, is the PGA Head Professional at Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club in Wyoming. Originally a night waterman at the Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club during the 1970s, Mark spent 12 years in Jackson Hole before eventually heading back East in 1985 to become a Golf Professional. "Not a day went by that I didn't think about returning to Jackson Hole," Mark Bradley is quoted as saying on the club's Website. Prior to returning to Jackson Hole in 2005 as Head Professional, Mark directed golf operations at Hopkinton CC in Boston and spent most of his career managing several high end facilities in Vermont. A die-hard fly fisherman and a sought after alpine ski instructor at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort during the winter months, Mark embodies the Jackson Hole life style. His bag tag reads simply "Pat's Brother," a reference to his sister, the LPGA Hall of Famer. The Bradley family was recognized as the "Golf Family of the Year" by the National Golf Foundation in 1989, following the Nicklaus family in 1988.
