Mother Nature Puts On A Show

Wood River Valley native Oliver Guy, 11, took this photo of lightning striking a tree and setting the top of it ablaze during a thunderstorm the night of Thursday, Aug. 4, north of Ketchum. Guy took the photo with his iPad from his family home in the Eagle Creek area. He said he was hoping to shoot a bird flying through the air when the lightning bolt flashed in his field of vision.
