Skaters pass USFS tests

At Sun Valley


     Several Sun Valley Figure Skating Club skaters passed U.S. Figure Skating Free Skate, Solo Dance, Free Dance, and Moves in the Field tests before a panel of accredited judges on Saturday, July 30 on resort ice.

     Free Skate tests reflect an individual figure skater’s competitive rank, and Free Dance tests reflect an ice dancer’s competitive rank.

     Moves in the Field is a prerequisite test relevant to all competitive skating disciplines, and Solo Dance tests are prerequisite ice dancing tests that also rank dancers in solo dance competition.

Free Skate
     Joyce Chan, Intermediate FS.

Free Dance
     Grace Hoffman, Juvenile Free Dance.

Moves in the Field
     Abby Chase, Novice Moves.

     Joyce Chan, Intermediate Moves.

     Katie Peters, Juvenile Moves.

     Karsyn Gerringa, Pre-Juvenile Moves.

     Christine DuFur, Preliminary Moves.

     Emma Dorinson, Preliminary Moves.

     Grace Cleveland, Pre-Preliminary Moves.

     Antonia Avery, Pre-Preliminary Moves.

Solo Dance
     Fanny Horn: Blues, Paso Doble.

     Ashley Clark: American Waltz, Tango, Rocker Foxtrot to complete Silver Dance Level.

     Abigail Chase: Tango, Rocker Foxtrot.

     Grace Hoffman: American Waltz to complete Silver Dance Level.

     Lisa Marie Allen: American Waltz.

     Natalia Irvine: Dutch Waltz, Canasta Tango, Rhythm Blues, Swing Dance, Cha Cha, Fiesta Tango, Willow Waltz, Hickory Hoedown, Ten Fox to complete Preliminary, Pre-Bronze and Bronze Dances.

     Shayna Moellenberg: Ten Fox and Fourteen Step to complete Bronze Dance Level.

     Grace Cleveland: Dutch Waltz, Canasta Tango, Rhythm Blues to complete Preliminary Dance Level.
