Tending The Garden


Express photo by Roland Lane Sun Valley Adaptive Sports summer campers visit their garden plot at the Sawtooth Botanical Garden where they have been growing vegetables and herbs. For the past several years, the Sawtooth Botanical Garden has donated a plot to Sun Valley Adaptive Sports for its summer camp. The camp, which is composed of 50 local people with disabilities, includes the garden as one of many activities. Campers tend the garden at least twice a week and the harvest is shared among them. The camp will continue through Aug. 19.
