Bela Flecks Banjo Pickin Shook Sun Valley


Express photo by Roland Lane Bela Fleck had more than 1,000 people on their feet enjoying his banjo picking for the Sun Valley Shakedown music festival on Thursday, July 28, at Sun Valley’s Festival Meadows. It was a beautiful evening for the event, which featured the Fox Street All Stars, Bruce Hornsby and The Noisemakers and Bela Fleck and The Original Flecktones. Event organizer Jason Fry said he was very pleased with the show. Music fans who attended the event were also impressed by the Flecktones lineup, which included Howard Levy, Victor Lemonte Wooten and Future Man, and The Noisemakers, which consisted of J.V. Collier, John “J.T.” Thomas, Bobby Reas, Doug Derryberry and Sonny Emory.
