Don’t let Bin Laden win

Osama bin Laden said a number of times that his group's goal is to force America into bankruptcy. Bin Laden is dead. But if some Republicans get their way, he wins.

Bankruptcies can be adverted by doing two things. 1. Raise the debt ceiling. 2. Let Bush tax cuts expire.

A Center on Budget Policies and Priorities report on May of 2011, using Congressional Budget Office figures, found that allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire would reduce deficits by $3.8 trillion over the next decade. You can read about it at http://www.cbpp.org/cms/index.cfm?fa=view&id=3490
