All-Stars gather for Hailey softball tonight

After completing their 2011 regular-season game slate Tuesday night, and still 10 days away from their own city tournament, Hailey Coed Softball League players will pause and take the field for fun tonight.

The annual Hailey Coed Softball League All-Star game is today, Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Lions Park, Hailey.

League commissioner Mike Beall announced the All-Star selections Monday. They are:

Coaches—Jimberly Rooney of Peterson Farms and Greg Schreiner of Redfish Technology.

Pitchers—Joe LaManna of 7 Dog/ESS and Mike Beall of Peterson Farms.

Catchers—Kristy Robertson of Sawtooth Paint/Class 5 and Sarah Meyers of Mahoney's.

Extra hitters—T.J. Peterson of 7 Dog/ESS, Ben Bainbridge of Sacred Bear/Power Engineers, Brandy O'Grady of Hailey Hotel and Wendy Hosman of 7 Dog/ESS.

Infielders (men)—Kenny Nelson of Cups and Bras, Bryan Burrell of Sawtooth Paint/Class 5, Anthony Anderson of Cups and Bras, and Jeff Schroeder of Sawtooth Paint/Class 5 (playing in place of the injured Sean Harrington of 7 Dog Ranch).

Infielders (women)—Alex Lindbloom of Cups and Bras, Jamie Stone of Sacred Bear/Power Engineers, JonMarie Shaw of Hailey Hotel, and Shannon Webb of Sawtooth Paint/Class 5.

Outfielders (men)—Ryan Stavros of Cups and Bras, Jeff Burrell of Sawtooth Paint/Class 5, Matt Zachary of Mahoney's and Anthony Rooney of Peterson Farms.

Outfielders (women)—Lacey Munoz of Peterson Farms, Lisa Vadalma of 7 Dog/ESS, Anna Edwards of 7 Dog/ESS and Dani Carrothers of Peterson Farms.
